4.  How much does it cost to exhibit/sell online with ArtsandWines ?

There are no upfront fees to be a part of the ArtsandWines Community. Artisans set their wholesale prices for their Works. ArtsandWines then adds its selling commission. ArtsandWines handles all of the rest. The Artisan should set his/her price as the "wholesale" price he/she would expect to receive when selling through a dealer or gallery. The Artisan should not set his/her price as the Retail price he/she would normally present to the Consumer.

5.  Who pays for shipping?

ArtsandWines will remit to the Artisan 100% of the Shipping Fees (based on shipping by UPS Ground) and Insurance Fees (based on Full Retail Value of the item). Artisans are responsible for the packaging and shipping of their Creations

8.  What if I already have my own website or my work is on another Internet site?

At present, ArtsandWines does not require online exclusivity if you have your own website. However, we do ask that Work you submit for inclusion on ArtsandWines be priced to match that of your site - anticipating your Wholesale price, Artsandwines retail margin and the final Retail price. We do require that Artisans notify ArtsandWines as soon as any Item they submitted to inclusion on Artsandwines.com is sold through any other venue.

9. Can I link or point to other websites from ArtsandWines

No. ArtsandWines supports and encourages the development to a dialogue between its Artisans and its Customers. If Artisans linked to or pointed to other websites on the Artsandwines.com website the Community would be diluted by having people scattered all over the Internet.

In order to create a growing and vibrant Artsandwines Community, it is hoped that all Artisans with websites will put a link to www.artsandwines.com on their own website. This is very important as it will benefit everyone in the Community.

10.  Do I have to stop selling at fairs and festivals?

No. Again, ArtsandWines does not request exclusivity. However, you must notify us by email at artisan@artsandwines.com immediately after selling an Item you have listed on ArtsandWines. Let us know when an article has been sold so that we can remove it from our site to avoid selling an item that is no longer available.
