Jeff Enderwick worked as an engineer and
manager for twenty years, most recently with Silicon Valley networking
start-ups. The corrosive nature of molten glass has eroded Jeff's desire to
work himself to death in yet another start-up making grey boxes with
ethernet ports. This erosion has been so serious that Jeff has actually
left his last high-tech job, and now occupies himself with the making of
glass art, travel, cycling, taking afternoon naps and chilling with his
yellow labrador retriever, Sherlock.
Jeff has the utmost respect and fondness for art from other
materials, however "nothing works with light as glass does." That which can be seen out
of doors
in California is a constant inspiration to get into the studio and
make something
cool.
Jeff's blown glass art has been sold at auction, including the
"Keep Us Hot" auction benefiting Public Glass, and BAGI's Great
Glass Auction.
